Camera settings
To see the options, touch the white circle in the top right corner of the screen. Then touch the option you
wish to change and slide to a new setting. Alternatively, touch and hold in the middle of the screen, and
then slide to an option and a new setting.
Note: You can only adjust the camera settings for the conventional photos, not the panoramicimages.
Option Setting
Camera settings
Settings include:
Set Store location to ON to record the location of a photo or video
automatically.
Picture size: VGA, 1M pixels, 3M pixels, 5M pixels, 8M pixels (default)
or 13M pixels.
Colour effect: apply artistic effects to your photos. Options include Sepia,
Negative and Posterize.
Scene mode: select an option to give the best results in particular lighting
situations. Options include Party and Sunset.
Restore defaults: return all camera settings to their default values.
Choose camera
Switch between the main camera and the front camera.
Exposure
Select an exposure setting, ranging from +2 to –2.

White balance
Set to Auto, Incandescent, Daylight, Fluorescent or Cloudy.
Flash mode
Main camera: set the flash to Auto or On (with red eye reduction available
for both options) or set to Off.
HDR
HDR (High Dynamic Range) helps to preserve details in scenes with high-
contrast lighting conditions. Set to On or Off (default).
Record and share a video
Besides taking photos with your phone, you can also capture videos.
To take a video:

From the home screen, touch Apps > Camera.
Note: To switch from photo mode to video mode, touch .
